likhanyan National Scientific Laboratory non-profit organization, Yerevan State University and California Institute of Technology signed an agreement to set up a joint Institute and Cosmology and Astrophysics in Yerevan. The Armenian Government decided to allow Alikhanyan laboratory to establish offices and branches to implement the agreement. The institute may be unique in the region. It will have an opportunity to take part in two international programs, particularly PLANCK and Meta-Institute for Computational Astrophysics.
