Would it be safe to fly through the tail of a comet?

Unlike a recent blockbuster movie showing a space ship flying past giant rocks the size of houses, a comets tail is actually quite safe. The only thing that would hit your ship would be microscopic pieces of dust.

Yes-I think it would be safe to fly through the tail of a Comet-its just the take off procedure and leaving Earths Orbit that are the real dangers-once your out into space any forward motion is equaled by a backward motion (and vice versa according to Einsteins theory which was proved right by the Appollo missions to the Moon and what actually got them there) so once you fly out to a Comet (TOMPLE WIFFLE SCUFF JACKO WILSON MAYBE) and go through the tail of this Comet with particals at the most the size of a pea to a grain of sand or dust hitting the spacecraft you need some kind of firm protection from anything colliding with the outside protection and its design at +- 30 miles per second-so basically thats your answer-you can fly through the tail of a Comet as long as the protection on the spacecraft can absorb the impacts of faster that speeding bullet impacts hitting on it and possibly damaging the craft unless it has the full potential of protection that can comply with the mission to be succesful-SIMPLE.....
